 1. Brief introduction yourself ? 

- Good morning/afternoon. My name is Datta Sirsath. I completed my graduation in Computer Science from Fergusson College, Pune and currently I have 3.1 years of professional experience as a Java Developer. 

- Over the years, I’ve developed various backend features using Java, Spring Boot,  REST APIs, Micro-services, Hibernate/JPA, and MySQL. 

-  I’ve worked on modules like Expense management, Asset management, ELCM and more.

- I’m used to working in Agile teams and familiar/proficient with tools like IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Gitlab, Bit bucket, Maven, and Postman, MySQL Workbench. I always aim to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 

- I’m now looking to contribute to a forward-thinking team where I can continue learning and add value to the organization.

- In my current and previous roles, I’ve worked extensively on backend development using Java, Spring Boot,  REST APIs, Micro-services, Hibernate/JPA, and MySQL. 

- Over the years, I’ve developed a variety of features. I also have hands-on experience with  user and role management, REST APIs, pagination, validation, soft deletes, and exception handling.

- I’m used to working in Agile teams and familiar/proficient with tools like IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Gitlab, Bit bucket, Maven, and Postman, MySQL Workbench. I always aim to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

2. Which technology and tools you used in your project? 

- Throughout my experience as a Java Developer, I have worked with core technologies like Java (8 and above), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA for backend development. I’ve used MySQL  for database management and developed RESTful APIs following microservices architecture. 

- I use Maven for project builds, Git and GitLab for version control, and IntelliJ IDEA and Eclipse as my IDEs. For testing and debugging, I work with JUnit and Postman, and I use Apache Tomcat for server deployment."


- I have basic experience with Docker, and ensure code quality using tools like SonarQube and Checkstyle."

3. Tell something of current project your roles & responsibility ? 

- Project 

- our company is product-based, and we are developing a Human Resource Management System (HRMS) application. It’s a complete end-to-end solution designed for companies to manage their HR operations digitally. 

- "I’m currently working on an HRMS (Human Resource Management System) project at PHI EDGE. 

- there are around 20 Modules in project like Performance Management System(PMS), Variable Pay, Learning & Development, Payroll, Task Management & DWM (Daily Work Management), Leave & Attendance Management and many more.

- In this project, I’ve worked on three major modules: Employee Life Cycle Management (ELCM), Expense Management, and Asset Management.

- In ELCM, I helped build features that manage the entire journey of an employee — from joining to exit. It includes onboarding, promotions, transfers, and resignations, all through automated workflows.

- In Expense Management, I developed backend logic for employees to submit expense claims, upload documents, and track their status. Managers and Finance teams can approve or reject expenses based on company policies, which we made fully configurable.

- In Asset Management, I built features to assign and track assets like laptops, ID cards, and mobile devices. The system automates asset allocation during onboarding and keeps track of repairs, returns, and replacements.


- My roles and responsibilities in the HRMS project include

1. Gathering and understanding requirements from stakeholders or BA team (functional team ) and converting them into technical specifications.

2. Developing backend features using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

3. Designing and managing database structures using Hibernate/JPA with MySQL.

4. Implementing role-based workflows and validations based on business rules.

5. Writing clean, maintainable, and modular code following coding standards.

6. Testing APIs using Postman, writing unit tests with JUnit.

7.Ensuring timely delivery of tasks while working closely with cross-functional teams.

8. Collaborating with the frontend team, QA, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and smooth releases.

9. Taking responsibility for delivering assigned tasks within the given timeline, maintaining code quality and performance.

10. Actively participating in daily standups and sprint planning meetings to track progress and resolve blockers.

4. are you serving notice period or what is your notice period ?

- "Yes, I’m currently serving my notice period. My last working day is [mention the date]."

- I haven’t resigned yet. My official notice period is [30/60/90] days, but I’ll try to negotiate for an early release if required.

5. current package and excepting package  ? 

- My current CTC is ₹X LPA. Based on my 3+ years of experience, skill set, and the responsibilities I can handle, my expected CTC is around ₹Y LPA. However, I’m flexible and open to discussion depending on the role, benefits, and overall growth opportunities.

6. Why are looking for change ?

- Yes, there are a few reasons I’m looking for a change. Firstly, I feel I’ve gained solid experience in my current role and now I’m ready to take on more challenging responsibilities. I’m also looking for better growth opportunities — both in terms of learning new technologies and career progression. Additionally, I’d like to work in an environment where I can get more exposure to end-to-end product development and be part of a team that values innovation and continuous improvement. So overall, it’s a mix of professional growth, better learning, and a desire to contribute more.
